Intel tie in with the Motorola Android devices

The tie-up with Motorola is a major coup for Intel, which has been struggling to get the company to use a processor for mobile devices. The chip, which runs on this type of architecture is known as x 86, use more resources and more ideally suited to larger PC and laptop. Almost all mobile phones using ARM-based chips that are more efficient and can sleep again without drawing much power, and better suited to smaller gadgets.

As a result of the key differences, Intel has found few takers in the extreme mobile. Companies that use ARM chips, such as Qualcomm and Tegra, have seen a lot of success with mobile devices.

But at the Consumer Electronics Show keynote, Intel CEO Paul Otellini also said telephone Lenovo supported with Intel chips will come to China in the second quarter.

Motorola, however, seems to be bullish with Intel has on the product roadmap.
